About

Background  

Teachings and researches on language, literature, and culture are central to the success of facets of education. The world of education still lists communication skills in both written and spoken, critical thinking, innovation skills, work ethics and leadership as essential human capitals. Teachings and researches on language, literature, and culture are therefore of  the utmost essence to reach those capitals. With its 12 years of experience in the teachings and researches on language, literature, and culture, Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS) of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) conducts this international conference in a hope to provide a forum for experts and professionals on language, literature, culture, and education,  to  share  their  experiences, ideas, and visions,  for  contributing teachings and researches on language, literature, and culture,  and  to  offer  solutions  to  problems  encountered  in  those  areas.  

 

Aims and Scope

First International Conference on Language, Literature,  Culture, and Education (1st ICOLLITE): Unity in Diversity through Language, Literature, Culture and Education organized by Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS) of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of language, literature, culture, and education. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of language, literature, culture, and education. All honorable authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the conference through submissions of their research abstracts, papers and posters. Also, high quality research contributions describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of language, literature, culture, and education are cordially invited for presentation at the conference. The conference solicits contributions of abstracts, papers and posters that address themes and topics of the conference, including figures, tables and references of novel research materials.
